Our Mission

Gulf Regional Occupational Medicine Center of Acadiana's mission is to be here for you, your family and our community. We strive to keep you healthy for both work and school or getting you back on your feet after being ill. We provide state-of-the-art medical care in a conscientious manner for ages 4 and up.

We also focus on commercial medical care because we understand the needs of your company and work towards achieving satisfaction from both the patient’s viewpoint, as well as the company's. Our staff is well versed in OSHA guidelines and we strive daily to ensure all requirements are being met to minimize the impact of work-related injuries to our clients.

Aimee D Delahoussaye – Family Nurse Practitioner

Derek S Foreman – Physician Assistant

Aimee Delahoussaye grew up in Carencro, Louisiana and graduated with honors from Teurlings Catholic High school in 2003.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2007 and completed a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus in 2012, both from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In her spare time, Aimee enjoys watching athletic events & spending time with her husband & their three children. With a background in intensive care nursing, urgent care and family practice, Aimee is excited to provide healthcare services to Vermilion Parish residents and the surrounding areas of South Louisiana.

Derek Foreman grew up in Carencro, Louisiana and graduated with honors from Carencro High School in 2002. He received his Bachelor of General Studies with minors in Psychology and Sociology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge Louisiana and obtained his Master of Medical Science for Physician Assistant from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Derek enjoys spending time with friends and family, particularly his wife and their three children. Having experience in urgent care and acute injuries, Derek is looking forward to providing healthcare services to the residents of Vermilion Parish and the surrounding communities.
